Apartment rental

1. Do I have to schedule an appointment for the departure inventory?
No. Check-out control takes place between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., as soon as you have notified Reception Office that you are ready to leave.
2. Is it possible to set up a tent in front of my apartment?
No, you will need to book an additional pitch, located in the area dedicated to camping pitches.
3. Is it possible to put a baby bed in the sleeping room?
Yes
4. Do you rent baby beds or chairs?
Yes, optional (baby bed & chair kit: € 2 per day).
5. Are pillows and blankets provided?
Yes
6. Do I have to pay a deposit on arrival?
  • Upon arrival, a 120€-deposit will be requested (by credit card) for cleaning purposes. It will be returned on departure, as long as the rental is left perfectly clean.
  • An additional 300€-deposit is payable on arrival (by credit card). The deposit is retained in case of damage to the rental.
7. Where can I find the inventory of my accommodation?
The inventory is accessible by clicking on a button of the same name located on the page of each accommodation. It can also be sent to you by email, on request.
8. Is it possible to come with a trailer?
Generally not. Yes, only in certain cases, after validation by our services. Option charged €4.50/night.  
9. Is it possible to come with two cars?
Generally not. Yes, only after validation by our services. Option charged €6/night.
10. Is it possible to park my vehicle on my rental space?
Yes, just next to your apartment
11. Can I precisely choose my apartment in the campsite?
By definition yes, because there is only one apartment at Camping Olbia!
12. Are babies counted in the accommodation capacity?
Yes, babies are counted in the accommodation capacity, the maximum number of people must not be exceeded.

Bikes – Cycle paths

1. Is it possible to go to the beach by bike? Does the town have cycle paths?
  • The beach "Le Four à Chaux" is located 200 m away, it is accessible by walking through the Parc des Chevaliers.

2. Is it possible for my children to cycle in the campsite?
Yes. Be careful, however, to car traffic (limited to 10 km/h)
3. Do you rent bikes?
Yes. Rental possible on site from our partner Locabike (https://www.loca-bikes.com).

Camping spots

1. Do you have a communal fridge to cool the ice packs?
Yes, you can entrust your ice packs to the campsite grocery store (€ 1 / ice block).
2. Is it possible to park my vehicle on my camping pitch?
Yes, it is !
3. Can I precisely choose my location in the campsite?
You can mention your preferences when making your reservation (for example: being in a quiet area, close to services, sunny, shaded location, close to your friends, another family...). When possible, the campsite will assign you the location that best suits your needs.
4. Do you rent refrigerators?
No. Please contact following service providers ensuring rental and delivery to your pitch.  
5. Are the pitches connected to water?
No. Water points are available next to the sanitary block and in the campsite.
6. Is an electric terminal available on my pitch? What equipment should I bring?
Yes. A terminal is located near each pitch (conventional or European sockets). To be comfortable, provide a 5-m-extension and a power strip. We provide adapters if needed, within the limit of available stock.
7. Is toilet paper available in the sanitary facilities?
No, it's up to everyone to bring their own toilet paper.
8. How are the sanitary facilities on the campsite equipped?
The campsite has got one sanitary block equipped with crockery, laundry tubs, toilets, sinks and individual cabins (shower or shower + sink and undressing area), one nursery (WC, showers, baths and changing tables).
9. What is the size of the pitches?
Due to the vegetation, the pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes on the campsite have an average surface area of 70 to 80 m² (parking included).
10. Is it possible to come with a trailer?
Generally not. Yes, only in certain cases, after validation by our services. Option charged €4.50/night.  
11. Is it possible to come with two cars?
Generally not. Yes, only after validation by our services. Option charged €6/night.

Grocery store

1. What kind of products can I buy at the convenience store?
All common food products, groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread and pastries, drugstore, beach items, local products, souvenirs.
2. What are the opening hours of grocery store?
The mini market is open from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in July-August).

Playground – Sport activities

1. Does the campsite have a playground? What are the opening hours?
Yes. The playground (open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.) has a play area for toddlers with a slide and rocking games (NB: the presence of an adult is compulsory for supervision).
2. Does the campsite have a multisports ground or a pétanque area?
  • Places to play “Pétanque” are nearby throughout Giens peninsula.
  • A library/game room, as well as a ping-pong table are at your disposal in the campsite

Porquerolles – Port Cros – Le Levant (The Golden Islands)

1. Are the hiking trails accessible all year round?
It is important to be aware of the conditions of the Mediterranean climate which becomes excessively arid during the summer, which leads to a significant increase in the risk of fire. Certain particularly critical situations (strong winds, increased drought) lead to the temporary closure of trails, as well as forest areas. 2. Can I bring my bike to the islands? Are there suitable trails?
Yes, only on Porquerolles, for a supplement of around € 17 per bike. Rental possible on site, in the village.
3. Can I buy tickets at reception office?

4. How often are the maritime shuttles to Porquerolles?
In high season, approximately every 30 minutes. Visit the website of TLV maritime company: https://www.tlv-tvm.com.
5. How long takes the crossing to the Golden Islands?
  • 20 minutes to Porquerolles (departure from La Tour Fondue, 6 km from the campsite);
  • about 1 hour to Port Cros (departure from Hyères Harbor, 9 km from the campsite);
  • approximately 1h30 to Île du Levant (departure from Hyères Harbor, 9 km from the campsite).

Reception – Booking conditions – General information

1. Is the campsite open year round?
No. The campsite is only open from April to early October.
2. How far are the beaches?
  • Le Four à Chaux : 200 m
  • L'Eiguade : 300 m
  • Coves : starting at 300 m
  • L’Almanarre :  2,5 km
3. Where can I find the campsite map?
We intentionally do not display the campsite map on our website. It will be given to you on arrival.

5. My child is under 18 and wants to stay at the campsite with his friends. Is it possible?
No. In accordance with the internal regulations, minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal representative during their entire stay.
6. Are visitors allowed to visit me?
  • Yes. NB: Visitors not staying overnight will have to pay a daily tax of € 5
  • PLEASE NOTE that the campsite does not have visitor parking.
7. Is the campsite accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes. Reception, restaurant and grocery store are easily accessible, as well as a toilet block dedicated to people with reduced mobility. However, Campsite La Presqu’île de Giens has more suitable facilities and accommodation.
8. What if I arrive after 8 p.m.?
Do not panic if you have a booking! A night auditor will guide you to your pitch or your accommodation.
9. Is it possible to drive into the campsite at any time?
No. In order to preserve the tranquility of your nights, campsite entrance gate is closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (from 11.30 to 7 a.m. in July-August).
10. What is the public transport around the campsite?
  • Bus line 67 runs between Hyères (town center and SNCF train station) and La Tour Fondue, bus-stop "Badine", 100 m from Campsite La Presqu’île de Giens.

11. Where are the supermarkets located?
In addition to the grocery store located in the campsite, you will find hypermarkets and supermarkets within a 15 km-radius, in the town of Hyères: Casino, Chronodrive, Géant Casino (+ drive), Leclerc, Grand Frais, Intermarché (+ drive), Carrefour Market, Lidl, etc.
12. Where and when can I go to a local market?
A market takes place every day in the area (Tuesday in Giens, Sunday in the Port of Hyères, etc.).
13. Does the Wi-Fi network cover the whole campsite? What is the price?
Yes, the different prices are displayed at the reception. Example: 1 day = 4 €, 7 days = 9 €, Family pack 4x14 days = 42 €.
14. Are barbecues allowed? Do you rent planchas?
Only electric barbecues, gas stoves and planchas are authorized, which are not available for rental.
15. Do you rent safes?
Yes, located in Reception Office
16. Is there a laundromat in the campsite?
  • Yes. It is open every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Prices (laundry included): € 6 for 6 kg, € 2 for the dryer.
17. Are animals allowed on the campsite?
  • Yes, only on camping spots. This is an option, billed € 4.50 per night (NB:  tattoo and up-to-date vaccination will be anyway checked on arrival);
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash within the campsite;
  • 1st and 2nd category dogs are not allowed.
18. What are the available payment options?
We accept payments by credit card, bank transfer, or in cash.  
19. When should I pay the deposit and the balance for my stay?
  • For the apartment: deposit on booking, balance 30 days before arrival.
  • For camping pitches: deposit on booking, balance on arrival.
20. How can I use my credit note?
By mentioning your customer number transmitted by our services when processing your file.
21. Am I required to take out cancellation insurance? What does your campsite cover if I don't subscribe to it?
No, this is an option. Please refer to the documents to be downloaded from the pages dealing with the apartment or camping pitches.
22. Is it possible to cancel my reservation or postpone my stay? What are your general conditions?
The booking conditions can be downloaded and attached to the reservation contract, upon signature of which they are deemed to have been accepted. As part of an internet reservation (which is equivalent to a contract), they must be checked before proceeding to the payment stage.
23. What are the possible arrival and departure times at the campsite?
  • For the apartment: arrival from 4 p.m., departure before 10 a.m.
  • For camping pitches: arrival from 2 p.m., departure before noon.
24. What are the opening hours of Reception Office?
Every day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The opening hours of the restaurant are random but rest assured: they cover the needs of customers according to the seasons, from morning to evening. Open 7 days a week from April to October (8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.) Lunch and dinner service. Traditional restaurant. Meals on site, takeaway. Salads, meats, fish and burgers. Pizzas only in the evening.
